This Privacy Policy explains how Cubix Hosting collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information when you use cubixhosts.com, the Cubix Hosting website, the Cubix Hosting platform or control panel, our game-server hosting services, support channels, community spaces, and related products and functionality (together, the "Services").

The Services are operated by Cubix Hosting ([CUBIX HOSTING LEGAL ENTITY — TO BE INSERTED BEFORE LAUNCH]) ("Cubix Hosting," "Cubix," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service on a privacy-related matter, this Privacy Policy controls.

IIntroduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through:

  • cubixhosts.com and related Cubix Hosting websites.
  • The Cubix Hosting platform, account area, control panel, and billing flows.
  • Game-server hosting services, including customer servers, server files, logs, backups, metrics, and related hosting infrastructure.
  • Support channels, including FreeScout, support@cubixhosts.com, privacy@cubixhosts.com, Discord, email, and other official support channels.
  • Security, monitoring, analytics, payment, accounting, and infrastructure systems used to operate Cubix Hosting.

This Privacy Policy does not control third-party services that Cubix Hosting does not operate, including Discord, Stripe, third-party plugins, mods, server jars, modpacks, bots, APIs, payment pages, game services, websites, or communities that you choose to use with your server. Those third parties have their own privacy policies and practices.

IIInformation We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When you create an account, sign in, place an order, manage a server, contact support, or use account, billing, or support features, we may collect information you provide, including:

  • Account and profile information: name, username, display name, email address, phone number, company name, country, postal code, role, account ID, account settings, and similar account details.
  • Authentication and session information: login sessions, authentication events, access or refresh session data, password-reset activity, account-security events, and related security metadata.
  • Billing and order information: plan selections, plan upgrades and downgrades, add-on selections and configurations, orders, subscriptions, invoices, renewals, cancellations, refunds, tax details, billing name, billing email, billing address, transaction identifiers, payment status, and related billing records.
  • Support communications: messages, tickets, Discord messages, emails, attachments, screenshots, diagnostics, server identifiers, console excerpts, logs you provide, and any other information you choose to share with us.
  • Server configuration information: server names, plan choices, software versions, startup commands, environment settings, server properties, allowlists, banlists, operator lists, installed plugins, installed mods, server jars, modpacks, and similar configuration data.
  • Customer-provided content: files, worlds, backups, plugins, mods, configuration files, databases, uploads, logs, and other content you upload, create, store, generate, or run through your server.

2.2 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Cubix Hosting does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may provide us with limited billing and payment information such as payment status, transaction identifiers, card brand, last four digits, expiration date, billing details, tax information, fraud or risk signals, disputes, refunds, and chargeback information.

We may process billing and transaction information through QuickBooks and related accounting workflows for bookkeeping, accounting, reconciliation, tax, audit, and business-record purposes.

Because Cubix Hosting provides game-server infrastructure, servers and related software may generate or store player-related data. Depending on how you configure your server, server files and logs may include:

  • Minecraft usernames, UUIDs, display names, and similar game identifiers.
  • Player IP addresses, connection events, join and leave events, timestamps, and session details.
  • Chat messages, commands, console output, crash reports, stack traces, and diagnostic logs.
  • Player counts, gameplay statistics, whitelist/allowlist entries, banlist entries, operator lists, permissions, and role information.
  • Plugin, mod, bot, database, or integration-generated data.
  • Files or content uploaded by you, your staff, your players, or server software.

We process this information only as reasonably needed to provide hosting, backups, recovery, monitoring, support, troubleshooting, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or customer-requested functionality.

2.4 Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit our website or use our platform, we and our providers may automatically collect technical, usage, and security information, including:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Browser type and version, device type, operating system, language, and similar device information.
  • Pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, session identifiers, cookie identifiers, click activity, account activity, and feature usage.
  • Cloudflare Ray IDs, security logs, bot-detection signals, abuse signals, rate-limit events, DDoS or attack-related events, and request metadata.
  • Platform usage, control-panel activity, server-management actions, resource usage, network usage, container metrics, node health, Redis memory usage, Docker or container metrics, and customer server metrics.

We use PostHog for analytics and product usage tracking. We use Prometheus and related monitoring tools to collect infrastructure, platform, and service metrics needed to operate the hosting environment and display relevant usage or performance metrics to customers.
